What We Lost in the Rain

Taken on a bus ride along Pasir Ris, Singapore.

The weather seems to be more unpredictable these days. As accurate as the weatherman can preampt us, the thought of having an umbrella in my haversack didn’t materialise.

Then without any natural signs of the changing mood of the weather, I found myself drenched along with the windy rain, as if some giant up there is playing his paintbrush. Rushing to the nearest shelter like a stray cat reek of wet fur, a question flashed my mind – “Why are we even scared of the rain while our childhood days were spent embracing this gift of nature?”
